About Us

We met in 2002 at the School of Sacred Sound, Australia. We both entered into our Teacher Training with a desire to connect more authentically with our voices and to learn to express ourselves more fully in the world. At that point we could not have foreseen where that desire would take us. In 2002 the idea that we would work together did not even seem like a possibility – we lived on opposite sides of the world, came from different generations, different backgrounds and had different life goals. The idea that we could run a business between Melbourne and London would have seemed absurd. But as our friendship grew and we learned more about each other the distances and differences became less and less substantial. After our second Teacher Training in 2004 we were sitting on the beach talking over our plans for the future and the idea for Circular Sounds was born.

It took us several more years, several thousand miles, several hundred hours of conversation, and several tens of drafts before we came up with the concept of Circular Sounds as you see it today. We are proud of what we’ve achieved but are aware that there is still further to go. We hope that CS will continue to develop as we develop, that we will learn from our clients just as they learn from us, and that our original desire to express ourselves more fully in the world will flow through Circular Sounds to allow everyone who comes into contact with us to express themselves more fully too. This has been our dream and intention all along – we hope you will join us.

Though from widely divergent backgrounds and life experiences, we each arrived at the same place – a commitment to empowering others through creativity. Our different skills and life experiences create a harmony and wholeness of approach that allows us to support participants in the transformation and self awareness that occurs through the creative process. We believe that everyone has the power to rewrite their life story and take control of the next chapter. Circular Sounds brings together what we are, with what you are, and ignites the sparks of possibility.
